Crew members are consignors who volunteer to help out with the event. In return, they receive a higher % payout of their sales plus a VIP pass to shop first and get the best deals.

One shift

Earn 65% of your total sales and shop the VIP presale

Two shifts

Earn 70% of your total sales and shop the VIP presale

Three shifts

Earn 75% of your total sales and shop the VIP presale

What to expect

All shifts are 4 hours long. You’ll arrive 10 minutes before your shift starts and check in with our volunteer coordinator up front. They’ll give you an apron, a name tag, and a quick orientation. During your shift, you’ll be able to take breaks and will have access to restrooms, a break room, coffee, and snacks.

Shift types

Set-up

Set-up tables, racks, and signage. Unload and set out supplies. Requires walking and lifting. Great if you don’t like talking to people.

Item inspector

Recieve consignors’ items at drop-off. Inspect and test items as needed. Great for the really handy folks who know tools well.

Merchandiser

Before the sale, set out items in the correct spot. During the sale, keep tables organized and help shoppers find stuff.

General sale-day crew

You’ll be assigned a role the day-of. Greet people, check receipts, restock items, help with holding pen, etc. No specific knowledge needed. Some seated roles available – ask at check-in.

Cashier

Run a register. Scan items, accept payment, bag stuff, provide a receipt, and thank people for shopping with us. 

Front-end crew

Direct people to the next open register. Help bag as needed. Return unwanted items to the sales floor.

Consignor pick-up

Assist other consignors as they come to pick up any unsold items.

Clean up crew

Load donated items, break down tables and racks, clean up sales floor, pack and load out supplies. Another great role if you don’t want to chat.

Do I have to volunteer to consign?

Nope. But you DO have to be a registered consignor to take a volunteer shift.

How do I claim a shift?

Click this link to login to your MySaleManager account and claim a shift. If you don’t yet have a consignor account, you’ll have to create one first. 

Can I help in other ways?

Absolutely. We always need help marketing the sale, for example. If you have specific skills you think might be applicable, reach out.
